THE ISSUE
Stuart’s Baker and Butchers onboarding process was highly manual and time-consuming. New employees had to complete paper forms, submit copies of key documents, and have all materials matched and stored for future retrieval. The business was seeking a more efficient solution.
DDG had completed a similar onboarding process with McGhees Bakers, and after hearing about their positive experience, Stuart’s was keen to explore the same approach.
THE SOLUTION
DDG converted Stuart’s Bakers and Butchers paper onboarding forms into electronic equivalents. New employees are now sent a secure link to complete the forms and upload key documents, such as right to work evidence and identification.
Once submitted, the system automatically generates personalised contract documents and sends them out for signing, which on completion are stored in the Document Management System, making retrieval simple and efficient.
This streamlined process has significantly reduced administrative effort and improved overall onboarding efficiency.
