T F Reid & Donaldson are one of the oldest legal practices in Paisley. The company offer a wide range of legal services from domestic and commercial conveyancing, to private client and family law.
Due to the nature of the business, T F Reid & Donaldson are required to maintain a large amount of paperwork. Some of this is stored within the office but most at an offsite storage facility. The offsite storage is costly, and much time is taken to pack and organise files for collection. In addition, if documents from a case need to be revisited then time is taken arranging recovery and waiting for delivery.
Document Data Group introduced a Document Management System whereby all paperwork is scanned in, stored electronically onsite and can be retrieved via a quick key field search. This modern technology frees up the time of the paralegals who were organising the offsite storage and reduces the costs associated with this. A key feature of the system is its ability to encrypt data on entry therefore protecting the personal information of clients in line with the General Data Protection Regulation.
