THE COMPANY
Auchrannie Resort is situated in Brodick, on the beautiful Island of Arran. The resort comprises of two four-star hotels, thirty 5* luxury lodges and fourteen luxury retreats.
THE ISSUE
Auchrannie must manage their own toner levels checking on a regular basis and phoning in for top ups. Delivery to the island can take up to 4 days and therefore this is an important task as they don’t want to run out but equally with multiple devices throughout the resort it is also very time consuming.
The resort has high colour usage, and it would be advantageous to try and reduce this.
Finally, due to the limitations of being on an island a machine could have a long down time while waiting on an engineer to visit.
THE SOLUTION
Document Data Group operate an Automatic Toner Solution and for Auchrannie the level to trigger a new toner is set slightly higher to allow for the longer delivery time frame. This means they no longer need to monitor toner replenishment.
Our UTAX devices have a unique three tier billing structure which means you only pay for the amount of colour used. Tier 1 is the cheapest level and 61% of the Auchrannie Resorts printing falls into this category and therefore has resulted in a large reduction on printing costs.
Document Data Group have invested heavily in a remote support system which means 60% of typical printer issues can now be fixed remotely. For somewhere more remote like Auchrannie this can really improve the service for the customer.
