Advance Construction Scotland

THE COMPANY

Advance Construction Scotland evolved over 25 years ago providing a range of services within the construction industry from groundworks to plant & equipment to flooring solutions and a wide range of fully accredited training courses.

THE ISSUE

Advance Construction were in search of a provider that could offer exceptional service levels for their print fleet. A fully managed solution was important, where they could simply report any service requirements, and the provider would take care of the rest- ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. In addition, the cost of colour prints was high, and were looking for a way of reducing this spend.

THE SOLUTION

Document Data Group provided the company with a fully managed print service, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience. We take pride in our exceptional service levels, recently achieving an average resolution time of just under one hour for help desk calls and under three hours for on site field service visits.

To further enhance our support, we have a dedicated member of staff on our helpdesk available Monday to Friday during working hours. In 2022, we also invested in a software solution called Ufleet, which enables us to resolve 60% of service calls remotely, reducing downtime and improving efficiency for our customers.

To address concerns about high colour printing costs, we supplied the company with A3 UTAX devices featuring Three-Tiered Billing – an innovative solution that ensures fair and transparent pricing. This unique technology automatically calculates the exact amount of colour used per document and assigns the cost to one of three pricing tiers. As a result, the company only pays for the colour they use, helping them significantly reduce their printing expenses.

“We first partnered with Document Data Group to supply a printer/copier for our new office in the local area. However, after experiencing the quality of their machines and the exceptional support they provide, we have since begun transitioning all our printing and copying needs to them”
