THE COMPANY
Park Farm is nestled in the Auldhouse countryside on the outskirts of East Kilbride. The farm is run by three generations of the Neilson Family looking after the farming operations and the dairy.
Park farm bottle their own quality, fresh milk and deliver to families and businesses in the surrounding areas. The milk travels a few metres from the farm to the dairy, showing the consumer exactly where their milk is coming from and how it is processed.
THE ISSUE
Park Farm Dairy had been managing IT internally, but as the company grew, they began to feel they were losing control of their systems and recognised the need to seek external support. As the business stores customers personal information, it was critical for them to ensure this data was being stored as securely as possible and system backups were in place.
Additionally, when the business was first established, they operated with standard Gmail accounts. As the company matured Park Farm Dairy wanted to move to a more professional email set up using their own domain name.
As the team began to expand, management also recognised the need to implement access permissions for confidential documents, ensuring employees could only access the information required for their role.
THE SOLUTION

We implemented secure systems and best practice controls to ensure customer information is stored and managed safely and migrated the Gmail accounts over to a more professional email solution creating a more credible and consistent brand presence.
DDG also introduced structured access permissions for files and confidential documents reducing risk and improving internal governance.
